SSD Data Recovery and Repair
SSD Data Recovery & Repair
We can recover data from many SSDs when they begin to fail. Most laptops and desktops from around 2018 shipped with SSD drives and many people now also have external SSD drives to store and transport their data or make backups.
Common Symptoms Of Faulty Hard Drive
Common signs of a failing or failed drive are:
- Errors when trying to read or write files
- Drive no longer being detected
- Drive being detected as 0GB
- Drive being detected in device manager but not appearing as a drive letter
- Unable to access files
- Missing files or folders
- Hard drive being reported as the wrong size
- Windows saying you must format the drive (please don’t do this!)
