Mail In Device
What To Do
If you don’t live within easy travelling distance of us, we also accept jobs via post. It’s usually best to contact us for an estimate before sending us a device as it may be something that we know we can or can’t repair just from your description. We do have a diagnostic fee of £35 inc VAT if we diagnose your faulty device and you decline the repair, we must charge this fee because it takes time to do a proper diagnosis.
If you wish to send us a device for repair or data recovery then please ensure it is packed which sufficient packing material to prevent further damage in transit and also preferably in an anti-static bag. If you don’t have an anti-static bag, placing it inside a large paper envelope should suffice. Do not just put it in a plastic bag with little or no packaging. We advise that at least 5cm of foam surrounds the drive to prevent further damage.
Please do ensure you put a note of your name and contact details in the box with the drive so we can match the device with your form submission, it gets quite confusing at our end if we receive a device and we don’t know who its from!
Please be as thorough as you can with the details of the form as this will greatly aid us in repairing your device or recovery your data.
