RAID Data Recovery
RAID Data Recovery
Recovery from a failed RAID array can be a complicated job. If you find yourself with a non-functional RAID array dont panic, it’s essential that you discontinue any attempt to access the drives as this may cause permanent damage.
RAID arrays come in many configurations, from stripped and mirrored to RAID 5 and various hybrid setups. Although in many cases RAID arrays are there to stop data loss, they are not fool proof and can and do fail.
NAS Box Recovery
We have experience recovering data from a wide variety of NAS boxes, including:
- Buffalo Terastations
- QNAP
- Thecus
- Netgear ReadyNAS
Often problems can occur when more than one drive fails at the same time or during the time when the box is rebuilding the array. Its very important not to attempt any sort of repair or recovery on any of the individual drive.
You will most commonly find RAID arrays in Servers and NAS boxes. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of having one of these devices fail, before doing anything further, we highly suggest you contact us.
