How often and how much?
It all depends on how often and in what circumstances your PC is used. We recommend a service at least once every 12 months. Dust can be a major problem in both desktops and laptops, they can lead to overheating and costly component failure. Other leading problems include hard drive failure which can lead to all your data being lost if you havent been good and backed everything up. The tell tail signs of impending Hard Drive failure can sometimes be seen and therefore save you a lot of time in data recovery or worse still, loss of all your photos and music!
Good examples why you should have your PC Serviced regularly...
I have lost count of the number of people that have lost years worth of photos, enormous music collections and years worth of Thesis and Dissertation work. Many of these disasters could have been avoided if their systems had been serviced and advice on backing up data acted upon (Please Please Please Backup your data or a regular basis).
Other examples are systems clogged with so much dust and hair that vital fans have clogged causing overheating and resulting damange to large parts of those systems. These systems could have had an inexpensive service and saved the owners hard earned cash for something a bit more exciting. |
