Isn't laptop repair expensive?
Due to the way laptops are built hardware related problems do tend to cost more when compared to desktops. However, its still well worth letting us have a look as your fault laptop could be repaired from as little as £45.00.

In cases were we diagnose a fault and offer a fix and the client decides not to go ahead with the repair a diagnostic charge of £30.00 is payable.

Laptop Wont Charge or flickers on and off
This is a very common issue with laptops and is caused my manufactures bad design. The socket in which the DC jack gets plugged into is directly soldered to the motherboard. Over a period of time these joints can be damaged or the socket itself broken.

Fauly power socket symptoms include:
» Physical movement of the socket. Moving the socket may cause the charging light to flicker on or off or cause the system to shut down
» Obvious physical damage to socket, cracked plastic or missing central pin
» Laptop will run from battery but refuse to charge
» Sparking or burning smell coming from around the socket area

Actually repairing the DC socket is a relatively simple process however due to the design of almost every laptop the entire machine needs to be taken apart to get to the socket. It takes on average 3-4 hours to complete the job with a cost in the region of £90.00 Inc VAT.

Screen Cracked, No Display or Pink Tinge
This is also a very common problem with laptops. Screens often get damaged if they are dropped or sat/stood on. At other times, the light inside the screen just fails or another part of the screen becomes faulty. Fortunatly we have negociated a very good price for replacement screens with our suppliers allowing us to offer you very reasonably priced laptop screen repairs.

We are currenly offering screen replacements(screen + fitting) for most 14", 15,4", and 17" laptops at £160.00 Inc VAT
