Here in our workshop one of our main jobs is data recovery.   You can lose data through any number of ways but common reasons are accidental deletion, virus corruption, and accidental damage to storage media or mechanical failure of the storage device.  It can happen at any time and unless you have recently created a backup you may well lose data that you simply cannot live without.

Here at TechRescue we have a good track record for recovering your all important files from media suffering anything from accidental deletion to the dreaded "click of death", however technology is always changing and we are becoming ever more reliant upon our digital devices for home and business.  We therefore have decided we will be investing in upgrading our equipment and adding to our capabilities in the Data Recovery field.

We will be supporting  recovery from Windows (FAT, FAT32, NTFS), Linux (ext2,ext3,ext4) and Mac (HFS, HFS+) formatted drives from standard internal drives, external drives and RAID arrays locally as well as recovery from Flash devices such as Pen Drives and Memory Cards.

Unlike the vast majority of Computer Repair Shops you will come across, we have the ability to recover data from physically damaged drives and with our equipment upgrade we aim to provide our customers with an unmatched recovery rate in the North of Scotland.
